Staffing Changes
As you probably know, the clinic said goodbye to two long-time physicians in 2010. Dr. Rick Eikrem and Dr. Rick Cook retired in May and August, respectively. Angela Young left the clinic in April of this year. We were very sorry to see them go.
Dr. Heidi Fletemier and Christian Duren, PA joined our staff of providers in the last half of 2010. Dr. Jay Campbell, joined our Family Practice Department in June of this year. We are excited to have these new providers on our staff.
We realize that transitional periods are difficult for everyone involved. We try to minimize the effects on you, the patient, as much as possible. Your health and our commitment to quality personal medical care are of utmost importance to us.
Telephone Upgrade
By now we hope that you have had a chance to use our new telephone system that was implemented in February.
We know this is an adjustment for our patients. By having a large percentage of incoming calls bypass our main switchboard, we hope to streamline your calling experience. If you wish to make an appointment please choose an option for your doctor’s receptionists or our lab/xray schedulers. If you wish to speak to a Triage nurse you may choose that option and be directed to their call group. There is an option for prescription issues and another with information regarding our location and business hours. If you wish to speak to your doctor’s medical assistant, choose that option and the switchboard operator will assist you in being transferred to the back office. If you do not choose an option, your call will go to the switchboard operator.
In addition to our main number, 503-391-1110, there are direct lines to several departments that you may or may not have been aware of.
